Hey folks,
Just a quick update here from HH/Dennis world. Some news on upcoming appearances and also a video shoot for Sister Lovers Tonight. Here are the shows:
September 16 – Sackville, NB – Fall Fair
September 17 – Halifax, NS – The Carleton – Atlantic Film Festival Showcase
September 18 – Indian River, PE – St Mary’s Church – Dennis opening for Matt Andersen – 3 pm – sold out
September 24 – Charlottetown, PE – Hunter’s Ale House w/ The Evening Patriot (Pat Deighan)
September 26-27 – Charlottetown, PE – Music PEI Showcase
September 28 – Halifax, NS – The Carleton – Dennis opening for Steve Poltz – TBC
September 29 – Summerside, PE – Contact East Showcase
That brings us up to speed on the upcoming shows. Dennis is setting out on a solo tour starting mid October that will lead him south to Athens, GA to start making a new solo record with acclaimed Drive By Truckers producer, David Barbe. Dates to follow.
Before Dennis heads out, the band will be making a music video with Millefiore Clarkes for their song “Sister Lovers Tonight”. Very exciting discussions so far, it promises to be a great piece of work.
